Muammar Gaddafi - Zenga Zenga Song - Noy Alooshe Remix + Download

Muammar Gaddafi’s speech has become an internet hit with over 300,000 views on YouTube after the Libyan leader’s words were turned into a dance track - Zenga Zenga - by an Israeli musician.

In his recent hour-long rant on a Tripoli balcony, Moammar Gaddafi vowed to hunt down rebellious Libyans "inch by inch, house by house, room by room, alley by alley" and said he would wipe them out "to the last drop of blood."

One musician saw in this, and the constant pumping of Gadaffi’s fists, the makings of a anthem.

"Gaddafi's speech had all the makings of a hit," says Israeli musician Noy Alooshe, 31.

"Repeating the words 'Zenga zenga', his unique outfit, lifting his arms up in triumph like he's at a party – I just added some club music to it and thought it would be a funny joke."

Alooshe cranked remixed Gaddafi’s speech with Hey Baby, by American rappers Pitbull and T-Pain and threw in some dancing babes.

Voila! The Zenag Zenga video has gone viral, with fans throughout the Arab world with the Libyan opposition choosing to use the song for its online protests.

"I've received messages from internet surfers across the Arab world - Bahrain, Iraq, Egypt and Libya of course," he said. "Most of them don't even know that I'm a Jewish Israeli."

However, once it was revealed that Alooshe was Israeli, the praise become mitigated with accusations of blasphemy and threats against the Zenga Zenga maker.

"There were some people who cursed me and wrote 'death to Israel', which was kind of disappointing," said Alooshe. "Someone from Egypt wrote: 'It's true that you're Israeli and I hate you, but you made an amazing remix.'"

Much of the anger stemmed from the semi-naked dancer in the clip which Alooshe responded to by quickly releasing a modest version of the clip, which has already racked up 20,000 hits.

And what next for Alooshe?

"I was offered to make another clip called 'Bonga Bonga' for Berlusconi with female dancers," he said.
